The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Gombe State has arrested a 27-year-old suspect for an alleged arson attack on four houses.
The suspect identified as Segun Bulus was accused of torching the houses in Dele Jesu community, in the Balanga Local Government Area of Gombe State.
According to the NSCDC Commandant, Muhammad Muazu, the arson attack made several families homeless.
He said the suspect carried out the arson attack over a misunderstanding between him and a relation of the victim.
“As soon as the investigation is completed, the suspected will be taken to court to face the wrath of the law,” he said.
