Cubana Chief Priest, whose real name is Pascal Okechukwu, was granted N10 million bail today by the Federal High Court in Lagos State.
He appeared before Justice Kehinde Ogundare on charges of spraying and tampering with Naira notes at a Lagos social event.
Cubana Chief Priest pleaded not guilty to the charges.
His defense lawyer argued for a lenient bail due to his client’s lack of criminal history and health concerns, specifically weight-related heart palpitations. The prosecution deferred to the court’s discretion on the bail amount.
Justice Ogundare set bail at N10 million with three sureties. The case is ongoing.
