Eid Mubarak: WOVA facilitates with Muslim Umma, Calls for Integrity in Online Business

The Women Online Vendors Association (WOVA) extended Eid greetings to Muslims while emphasizing the importance of integrity, professionalism, and transparency in business.

In a press release signed by Chairperson Ayat Uba Adamu, WOVA urged its members to uphold high ethical standards as they celebrate Eid al-Adha, a festival commemorating Prophet Ibrahim’s (AS) willingness to sacrifice his son in obedience to God.

“Eid al-Adha teaches us the values of sacrifice, commitment, and honesty. These principles are not only central to our faith but also vital in our professional lives. As online vendors, maintaining these values is crucial in fostering trust and ensuring the sustainability of our businesses,” Adamu said.

WOVA also encouraged members to remember those in need and extend a helping hand to their communities.

“The spirit of giving and sharing is at the heart of this festival. As businesswomen, we have a unique opportunity to make a positive impact,” the release stated.

The association reiterated its commitment to supporting its members and fostering a thriving online business environment.

“Let us continue to set an example of what it means to be dedicated, trustworthy, and ethical in our business endeavors,” Adamu concluded.
