NFF Boosts Zamfara NYSC Sports with Equipment Donation

The President of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, has donated sporting items to the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Zamfara State.

The items were presented by the Chief Executive of Nigeria’s football governing body on Tuesday.

Represented by Coach Bello Garba Gusau, Coordinator of the National U-17 Male football team, the NFF president said the donation fulfills a pledge to support sporting activities among corps members in the state.

The donated items include a set of jerseys, five leather balls, and a complete set of socks, among others.

In response, the State Coordinator, Alhaji Abdulsalam Alhassan, expressed gratitude for the donation, noting that the items will enhance sporting activities among corps members during orientation camp and their participation in the annual NYSC DG’s Sports Festival.

He also called for further support from other stakeholders, philanthropists, and state and local governments to help fulfill the scheme’s mandate in the state.
