KWSG To Collaborate with Civil Defence

Kwara State Government says it will partner with the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps to enhance safety and security of citizens in the state.

The state Commissioner for Youths Development, Nafisat Buge stated this when she paid a courtesy visit to the State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Ilorin.

She commended the effort of the State Command in maintaining peace and tranquility in the state.

Buge said the state government would collaborate with the corps to move the state forward and create better opportunities for the teaming youths.

The Commisssioner , sought the cooperation of the corps in tackling the menace of criminal activities among the youth.

In his response the State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps , Kwara State Command, Commandant Umar Mohammed, assured readiness of the corps to collaborate with the state government in organising campaigns to reduce crimes in the state.
