Hon. Kabiru Rurum Distributes Rice, Cash to Orphaned Families Ahead of Sallah Celebration

As the Sallah celebration approaches, the member representing Rano, Kibiya, and Bunkure federal constituency, Hon. Kabiru Alhassan Rurum, has taken a compassionate step by distributing bags of rice and ₦10,000 to 50 orphaned families in his constituency today, Saturday, in Rano.

Hon. Rurum, who was represented by Dr. Kawu Sule Rano, emphasized that this gesture aims to enable them to celebrate Sallah with joy, happiness, and peace of mind, like any other Muslims celebrating worldwide.

Dr. Kawu Sule explained that they selected five orphans from each ward in Rano, Kibiya, and Bunkure without considering any political affiliation.

He noted that during such occasions, many orphans and widows often experience distress due to the absence of caregivers, following the loss of breadwinners in their households.

Expressing their gratitude, some of the recipients thanked Hon. Kabiru Rurum and extended their blessings to those who extend kindness during times of need.
