NIPR Celebrates 60 Years, Honors Governor Namadi for Excellence in Food Security

Governor Malam Umar Namadi of Jigawa State has been honored with the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) Diamond Prize for Excellence in Food Security and recognized as a Patron of the Institute.

The NIPR Public Relations Officer, Office of the Head of the Civil Service/Office of the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Ismaila Ibrahim Dutse, announced the award.

The award, given during NIPR’s 60th Anniversary Ceremony, acknowledges the Governor’s outstanding achievements in agriculture.

National President of NIPR, Dr. Ike Neliaku, lauded Governor Namadi for his transformative contributions to Jigawa State’s economy and the improved livelihoods of its residents, neighboring states, and beyond.

In his acceptance speech, Governor Namadi applauded the NIPR and pledged to collaborate with the Institute, dedicating efforts to meet citizens’ expectations and maintain a positive public image through effective communication.

The Governor was accompanied by the Honorable Commissioner of the Ministry of Information, Youth, Sports, and Culture, Alhaji Sagir Musa Ahmed.
