Kogi Journalists Condole Ododo Over Deaths Of Sen. Kadiri, Admiral Ogohi

Kogi Central Journalists’ Guild, (KCJG) has condoled with Kogi State governor, Alhaji Usman Ododo over the demise of the state’s two illustrious sons, Senator Alex Kadiri, and the former Chief of Defense Staff, Admiral Ibrahim Ogohi.

In a statement jointly signed by the Guild’s national president, Malam Muhammad Tijjani AbdulSalam, and the secretary, Ozumi Abdul on Monday, that was made available to newsmen in Kano, expressed their sympathies and support towards the governor during this difficult time.

The journalists shared fond memories of Senator Kadiri and Admiral Ogohi, highlighting their profound impact on the state and the nation.

The statement praised Governor Usman Ododo for his leadership qualities during this challenging period, as they commended his steadfastness in steering the state through times of sorrow.

“Senator Alex Kadiri, a prominent political figure known for his unwavering dedication to public service, passed away unexpectedly earlier this week. His contributions to the state and his advocacy for the welfare of the people have left an indelible mark on Kogi Central and beyond.

Similarly, Admiral Ibrahim Ogohi, revered for his distinguished military career and commitment to national security, also departed, leaving behind a legacy of bravery and honor”, the statement partly reads.
