Trust Africa Media Celebrates Ambassador Waiya’s Appointment as Commissioner

Trust Africa Media Nigeria Limited, the publisher of Kano Times, Net Gazette, and Labarai24, has congratulated Ambassador Ibrahim Waiya on his recent nomination as Commissioner by Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf.

The company commended Waiya for his dedication to peacebuilding and his significant contributions to Nigeria’s civil society and development sectors.

In a statement signed by Trust Africa Media’s Director of Public Affairs, Abba Muhammad recognized Waiya’s leadership and the impact of his work.

“Your remarkable contributions to the Nigerian civil society and development sectors, coupled with your leadership as Executive Director of Citizens for Development and Education (CDE) and Convener of the Kano Peace Committee (KPC) and Nigeria for Peace Project (N4P), have not only elevated the discourse on peacebuilding but also fostered significant growth within the Nigerian development space,” Muhammad said.

Ambassador Ibrahim Waiya has been instrumental in advancing peace initiatives and development projects across the country, focusing on promoting social justice and good governance.

The organization expressed confidence that his vast experience and commitment to societal progress will lead to meaningful change for Kano State.

“We are confident that your wealth of experience, commitment to progress, and passion for peace will bring positive and transformative change to Kano State,” the statement said.

Trust Africa Media Nigeria Limited wished Waiya success as he begins this new chapter, noting the impact his leadership is likely to have in his new role.

“Congratulations once again, and we look forward to witnessing your leadership in this new role,” Muhammad added.
