Nasarawa Police Commissioner Elevated to AIG, Trust Africa Media Applauds

A Nigerian public relations consulting firm, Trust Africa Media, publisher of Kano Times and Net Gazette, has congratulated Nasarawa State Police Commissioner Shehu Nadada Umar on his recent promotion to the rank of Assistant Inspector General (AIG) by the Police Service Commission.

AIG Umar, a native of Kano State, was honored for his outstanding service in the Nigerian Police Force. His promotion is seen as a reflection of his leadership, professionalism, and commitment to ensuring national security.

“This promotion is a great achievement for both AIG Umar and Kano State. His dedication has set a strong example, especially for young officers in the force,” said Muhammad Buhari, Managing Editor of Trust Africa Media, Kano office.

As the highest-ranking police officer from Kano, AIG Umar’s promotion is a historic milestone for the state, which has never had an Inspector General of Police. His success highlights Kano’s important role in national security.

AIG Umar’s journey is an inspiration to others, showing that hard work, integrity, and dedication can lead to the highest levels of service.

“We celebrate this achievement with AIG Umar, the people of Kano, and Nigeria. His leadership will strengthen efforts to maintain peace and order across the nation,” Buhari added.
