A famous Kannywood actress, Hajiya Saratu Gidado, known as Daso, has passed away in Kano at the age of 56.
It was learned that the actress died less than an hour ago, according to a producer, Yakubu Gwammaja, who is known to have worked closely with her.
He said her funeral is scheduled to be held at 4 pm today in Kano city.
