Bauchi’s Misau PDP Announces Local Government Election Nominees

The Misau Local Government chapter of the PDP in Bauchi State has today unveiled its chairmanship and councillorship candidates for the upcoming local government elections in the state.

The successful candidates, chosen through consensus, were introduced to party loyalists, elders, and stakeholders at an event held at the residence of Chairman Stakeholders, Alhaji Muhammad Yarima Sa’in Misau.

In his speech, Alhaji Muhammad Yarima Sa’in Misau, the PDP Chairman for Misau Local Government, explained that the consensus approach was adopted due to the party’s tradition of loyalty, discipline, and mutual respect. He highlighted that the process was conducted peacefully.

Sa’in Misau urged party members and the public to support all PDP candidates in the elections, emphasizing that the party’s commitment to people-oriented projects across the state would ensure its victory.

He called on party members and candidates to work together harmoniously for the success of the party, affirming that the PDP remains the last hope of the common man.

Local Government Party Chairman, Hon. Abdu Haruna Sirko, expressed gratitude to the stakeholders and candidates for their maturity during the selection process, noting it as a testament to their dedication to uplifting the party.

On behalf of all the candidates, the chairmanship flag bearer, Hon. Salisu Hussaini, thanked the party for its confidence and pledged to meet the expectations of the electorate while remaining dedicated ambassadors of the PDP.

Malam Nura Isah Akuyam, representing the state party leadership and present at the event, praised the conduct of the selection process and affirmed that Misau remains a stronghold of the PDP.

During the event, all 16 councillorship candidates were presented to stakeholders and security agencies.
