Buba Galadima Appointed Chairman Kano State Polytechnic Governing Council

Kano State Governor Abba K. Yusuf has approved the formation of a new Governing Council for Kano State Polytechnic.

In a statement signed by Baba Halilu Dantiye, the state Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, it was announced that Engr. Buba Galadima has been appointed as the Chairman of the Governing Council.

Engr. Galadima is a political associate of Rabiu Kwankwaso, the 2023 Presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).

Dantiye noted that Galadima’s experience and leadership are expected to advance both academic and administrative aspects at the institution.

The council will include Engr. Rashida Musa, Dr. Usman Abbas, the Solicitor General of the Ministry of Justice, and representatives from the Ministry of Higher Education, the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), and Professor Dahiru Sani Shu’aibu from Bayero University, Kano (BUK).

Additional members will represent the Polytechnic’s School of Management Studies, School of Technology, School of Environmental Studies, School of Continuing Education, and School of Rural and Community Development, Rano.

The appointments are effective immediately.
