Rano Chairman Applauds Kwankwaso on Honorary Doctorate, Hails His National Impact

The Chairman of Rano Local Government Area, Hon. Muhammad Naziru Ya’u, has congratulated former Kano State Governor and national leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, on receiving an honorary doctorate degree.

Kwankwaso was awarded the degree by Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, Wudil.

In a statement signed by the Rano Chairman, he said the honour was “a well-deserved recognition of years of hard work, visionary leadership, and people-focused governance.”

“It gives me immense joy to extend my heartfelt congratulations to Former Kano State Governor, Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, on the occasion of your recent conferment of an honorary doctorate degree by the Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, Wudil,” the statement read.

According to Hon. Ya’u, Kwankwaso’s work continues to inspire many Nigerians.

“This honour is far more than ceremonial—it stands as a recognition of your years of hard work, visionary leadership, and dedicated service to our great nation,” he stated.

“Your commitment to national development and your belief in people-focused leadership have left an enduring impression on generations of Nigerians. This distinction reflects the high regard in which you are held across the country and beyond,” Ya’u added.

He concluded by wishing Senator Kwankwaso continued strength and fulfilment in his endeavours.

“On behalf of my family and supporters, I celebrate your excellence and wish you continued strength and fulfilment as your legacy continues to inspire,” the chairman said.
