Funeral Date Announced for Late Emir of Zuru, Alhaji Muhammad Sani Sami

The Kebbi State Government has announced that the funeral of the late Emir of Zuru, Alhaji Muhammad Sani Sami, will be held on Friday at 2:00 p.m., immediately after the Juma’at prayers.

In a statement to newsmen, the state government confirmed that all arrangements have been finalized for the burial of the revered monarch, who until his death was widely regarded as a father figure and a leader deeply committed to justice, peace, and community development.

The passing of the Emir has created a profound sense of loss among the people of Zuru Emirate and the entire Kebbi State, where he was admired for his decades of service and dedication to the progress of his people.

According to reports, senior government officials, political leaders, traditional rulers, and citizens from across Nigeria are expected to attend the funeral to pay their last respects to the late Emir, whose legacy of selfless leadership and commitment to unity remains indelible.
