At least 16 students have been reported dead following the collapse of a two-storey building housing a school in Nigeria’s central Plateau state.
The school premises are crowded with frantic parents desperately searching for their children. Many who have seen the bodies of their children are inconsolable.
Rescue workers and emergency officials are racing against time to save those trapped, using excavators to dig through the rubble.
