Jigawa State Completes 2024 Hajj with Return of Final Pilgrims

The Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board has concluded the 2024 Hajj exercise with the arrival of the final batch of 307 pilgrims from Jeddah International Airport.

Led by the State Amirul Hajj and accompanied by officials including members of the State House of Assembly’s Hajj committee, they were airlifted by Max Air back to Nigeria, landing at Nuhu Muhammadu Sunusi International Airport.

Director General Alhaji Ahmed Umar Labbo confirmed the successful completion of the Hajj operations, emphasizing the state’s achievement in ensuring a smooth pilgrimage.

He praised Governor Umar Namadi for his unwavering support and cooperation throughout the process.

Additionally, Labbo acknowledged the efforts of the Board’s management in securing quality accommodations near the Holy Mosque in Makkah.

Pilgrims expressed satisfaction with the arrangements and appreciated the care provided by the Board’s officials during their stay in the holy land.

Net Gazette reported that the final batch, which also included Taraba state pilgrims, marked the conclusion of Jigawa State’s Hajj for 2024.
