A police officer, Sergeant Sunday Wadzani, shot and killed his father, a retired police officer, on Sunday.
According to Zagazola Makama, the event took place behind the Borno State Police Headquarters in Modugannari, Maiduguri.
The deceased, a former Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), was reportedly in a confrontation with his son when the shooting occurred.
